Legera Danielides is trained in classical voice but skilled in an array of genres, including jazz and music theatre. Legera received her bachelor’s degree at Stetson University for voice and her master’s degree at DePaul University for voice. She has sung in both Europe and the US and made her international debut at the Oslo Opera house singing the role of Petra in Sondheim’s, A Little Night Music. Other notable roles include Fosca in Stephen Sondheim’s musical, Passion (New York City) Zia in Ciao Bambino, (New York City) and Lucy Barrow McIntire in the world premier of Michael Ching’s opera Anna Hunter (Savannah, Georgia). Recently, Legera made her televised nation-wide debut singing the National Anthem for the Sacramento Kings basketball game. She has also sung with prestigious companies and houses such as Carnegie Hall, The Aspen Music Festival, the Savannah Voice Festival, the Voice Experience program, Musica Nelle Marche in Italy, Spotlight on Opera, and First Coast Opera.
