Sandy Riccardi received her Bachelor of Music in Voice (with piano minor) at Converse College, Spartanburg, SC, and her Master of Music degree in Voice (with piano minor) at Manhattan School of Music, New York, New York.
After performing as a singer extensively in New York City (and teaching pre-K through 8th grade general music for several years), she discovered her greatest teaching joy: teaching music to the youngest musicians of all- Infants, toddlers and preschoolers!
Sandy trained with The Early Ear and taught for several years in their Lincoln Center area school. She then moved to California and trained in the Kodaly Method at Holy Names University. She used her “Baby Music” skills for 10 years at the Petaluma School of Music.
She also taught band and choir at Two Rock Elementary in Petaluma, CA, as well as Brookside and Wade Thomas Schools of San Anselmo, CA.
There is nothing she loves more than watching very young minds bloom with music!
