Claire Lemke

Claire Lemke is a classically trained vocalist, seasoned performer, and dynamic music instructor from North Carolina. She has accumulated nearly 20 years of experience in voice training, as a performing soloist, and as a member in several prestigious choirs. In 2019, she completed a Masters in Music Theory from Northwestern University in Chicago after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Music with a concentration in Vocal Performance from Western Carolina University.

Her immersion into the world of music began at a very young age with a love for musical theater. Since then, she has gained experience performing multiple other genres including classical, jazz, and pop. Her training has taken her to various performance venues such as Carnegie Hall, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and Lincoln Center in New York City and Thomas Wolfe Auditorium in Asheville with the Symphony Chorus.

For the past three years, Claire has been teaching private voice lessons, piano lessons, and academic music classes through local community colleges. Along with her own dedication to learning, she is passionate about making music education fun and accessible for her students through games and activities. She aims to include a variety of diverse repertoire while maintaining an open-minded and playful environment tailored to the student’s individual needs. Overall, she has set her sights on sharing her love of music and learning with younger generations with the hope that they can hone their unique creativity and performance abilities.
