Justin Volpe

Justin is a multi-instrumentalist named after two founding members of The Moody Blues with over 30 years in the industry as a musician, composer and audio engineer.

Starting on trumpet in grade school with guitar, bass and drums to follow in middle school he made music whenever possible playing in wind ensemble, orchestra, jazz bands and a cappella vocal groups.  Under the direction of Ned Corman he was able to learn from and share the stage with Jazz legends including Max Roach, Paquito D’Rivera and Carlos Franzetti.

At 16 Justin discovered his love for audio and recorded his first solo album on a Fostex 4-track cassette recorder.  Soon after he was recording other bands and constantly in the studio making music.  This led to a degree in Sound Recording Technology @ SUNY Fredonia.

After college Justin pursued the Rock and Roll dream chasing a record deal with his original band Chapterfive while working in some of the most famous venues and recording studios in NYC including The Blue Note, B.B. King Blues Club, Sony Studios and The Hit Factory working with artists including Jennifer Lopez and Luther Vandross.

A chance phone call led to an audition for Ringling Brothers Circus in Madison Square Garden.  In 2003 he joined the Red Show playing guitar.

2005 took over as the drummer on the Gold Show. Many years and amazing stories later Justin has toured extensively throughout the US, Canada, Mexico and Europe.

He has worked in seven countries in various genres as musician, recording engineer and live sound guru and continues to pursue his passion for learning and sharing that knowledge with you.
